These are the tubular eahaust manifolds off of a 2000 F-body 3800 car. It rests on the support, but I'm also thinking about the exhaust pipe, cornering, and just the normal engine vibration from idling/running.
Car will not see any autocross but will be my daily driver.
Thanks in advance.

I took off the bulk of my perches, they made the big block headers too close so I cut a slit up the middle, heated the metal and rolled the two sides closer together, got about an inch of useless metal outta there. Took less than an hour for each one. I`m not understanding why your putting a 3800 engine in though

3800 inthere due to 3.4 catching fire & toasting the harness.
Plus, I got the 3800, tranny, pcm & harness for $200.

Go ahead and notch the control arm bracket. Just add more metal on the opposite side where the exhaust doesnt go. Are you kidding me? its well worth it for $200 for a 3800 4th gen engine and tranny. You definately didn't go wrong there!. PSST! you'll easily hang with most 305TPIs. Get some pistons and a crank from a fwd l67 and Slap on the supercharger. That'll make some v8 boys get really jealous hehehe. I'm sure you'll enjoy your 3800 engine. Good luck

Thanks. THat's the fomula for fitment probs on using the GTP motors in the 3rd & 4th gen car, the TB ending up in the dash. There are turbo kits & powerdyne kits for the 3800's, but that's for a different forum
. And yeah, going from 135hp & 160tq, then 160hp & 200tq to 200hp & 225tq is a nice step up
But when I bought my tires, I wasn't planning on the 3800 swap w/more power
edit: pic of what was cut
