Swaybar Install Question
Ok, so I installed my new front swaybar today, along with the new wonderbar (both stock GM parts off later IROC-Z).
Right now, the swaybar isn't fully torqued down because I need a new set of end link bolts. Right now its only snugged up to the body, and the ends of the swaybar are just hung over the old end link bolts because I haven't taken them out yet.
The "problem" (quotes because I'm not entirely sure if its a problem yet) is that I noticed that one end of the swaybar is about an inch or so high up on its end link than the other side is. Both mounts have been tightened to snug up to the body, but not fully tightened down.
Is my swaybar damaged? It didn't appear to have anything wrong with it when I stripped it and repainted it. And I know fow sure that the wonderbar is straight, I checked it.
Oh yea, when I noticed this, the front wheels were cocked all the way to one side. Does this have anything to do with it?

try turning the wheels strait, and with it on the ground (not sure if you have it up in air).
If it was bent when you were painting it (assuming painted on ground), only 2 or 3 points would have touched the ground, rather then 4 (both ends, then 2 around the mount place).

I just did my swaybar bushings today. It could be a lot of things such as how you have the car jacked, if the car has a bent frame, etc. You can easily tell if the bar is bent by putting it on the floor and just looking at how it sits. When I did mine, I put the 2 swaybar mounts on loose, then attached the endlinks loose, then torqued the mounts really tights then finally tightened the endlinks.
Also, check to see if the little bent metal piece on each of the bushing mounts is in their places.

Ok, so I set the wheels straight today and put it back on the ground (the front was raised a few inches with a jack)
It did even out alot when I did that. And I haven't 're-settled' the suspension yet either since it got off the jack. I'm pretty sure its straight now.
Thanks guys
