What exactly are you trying to decipher? What suspension it had? What struts to replace it with? As stated in Jerry Maguire,

As a GM parts guy, I have have access codes and so forth, but I need a little more info on what you are looking for.

Very easy we lost the boxes!
As stated we do have the GM shock catalog no codes in there!
The asm number 22088969 is the tuff part we can break delco nr into GM but the asm nr. is unknown to us!

So the Q is this:

The asm (nr.22088969) is what gm part number?
or is this a discon. number?
The codes on the suspension springs are listed in the parts catalog but not the shock codes!
Is WU a 16" WS6 shock???


for example:

MP is a code for a 505-312 HD gm shock with a gm partnumber 22035664 or a (F41 sus code)....we did a search in our shock catalog and another gm partnumber pops up 22008128

If you have the time just open up a 16" ws6 suspension box and check what code is on it!THANX!
If you have a code breaker for shocks let us know where to look for it!Nor did the microfilms,partbook or shock catalog show any...did we jumped over them???
