New Wheels and Tires!!!!!!!!
got my 17" SLP Zr1 wheels and 255/40/17 Kumho ASX tires put on friday and I love them. They handle so much better than the stock 15's and look a hell of a lot better too. $1200 shipped was the total cost and it seems like a great deal to me. I am completely in love with my car again even though it is slow...

I'd have to say IMO those are some of the nicest wheels I have ever seen on a third gen. They have that "dish" or "lip" on the rim that looks just right. Very nice! Now if i only had the money to pop for a set.....

Thanks for the compliments! I paid $700 for the wheels and then bought some Kuhmo 255/17's to put on them. I love them and they make the car ride a whole lot better than on the 15's.

looks nice i am considering the darker ones for my z28 but i wish they had a wider one as well. i could alawsy change the rears if the ever get em made. I am also becoming fond of boydes hot rod but not sure seems to be done alot but thay would also look very good and i could get the width i want. i'll have to check prices.
now to lower that car and it would look real mean.

Is there anithing wider that 255 for those rims? I love them but already have 255 on my gta's & see no point on geting them other than that they look cool as hell.

I like these rims alot, but Im not sure what kind to get for a maroon Z(car has no stripes or door lettering, just a cowl hood and regular IROC groundfx and decals). The hyper black look cool but do u guys think it would be too dark?

I absolutely love the hyper black ones. I think they would look sweet with any color. The silver ones look good too but I personally think hyper black is better.

I also think the Hyper Black looks sweet! My favorite aftermarket rim is the ROH Snypers... i wonder how they would look with that hyper black finish. Pretty damn sweet is my guess
I may have to do a photoshop sometime to see how it looks. does anyone know what they do to get the Hyper Black finish?

Also, don't like those centercaps. They'd look way better if the cap was flush with that inset in the middle of the wheel.
