Whats the max width of tires I can put on my 87 T/A 15" Rims ?? I have 215/65/R15's as of now but would like to go with a wider tire without doing any modifications. Any of you guys go with a wider and lower profile tire on your stock rims such as mine ??? If so, could you please respond and tell me what brand your running and how you like them. I'd appreciate any and all comments. Thanks !!!!

 

I have fit 255/60 R15's on the back and on the stock 15x7 rim, they look awesome and very mean.

 

I run Cooper Cobra GT P235/60r15's on my stock 7" 15's.
They perform pretty well. They are also just about the same height as the 215's, so they don't affect the speedo/vss reading.
If you are not too worried about the speedo reading, you might be able to go as high as a 255/60r15 on those wheels, but any larger, and you will be rubbing the wheel wells when going over bumps.
I know of a guy that put P275/60r15's on 7" wheels, but that was on a truck with the clearance.
