Anyone with MAC or ALSTON SFC's.........Im going to have my MAC's welded in this weekend, where they tie into the tranny tunnel do they get in the way of the crossmember...or should I just position them where they dont? Also should I get the car aligned before I get them welded or does the alignment really have nothing to do with the SFC. I see that the MAC's or the ALSTON's dont get welded to the LCA mount the get welded on the one right next to it...huh? Im sure they will be better than nothing...

they go right behind the tranny crossmember. a wheel alignment is not necessary, but making sure your frame is aligned is. if you car has never been in an accident, you should be fine. its rather expense to have it checked iirc. youll want the suspension to be loaded as if the car were sitting on the ground when theyre welded in

Does that mean if I welded in the connectors with my old, sloppy factory suspension, when I change it all my sfc's won't be as accurate as it should/could be? Or does the suspension just need to be loaded more or less how the car will rest?

Thanks,
Scott
