Problem solved - vibration @ 60mph
For those who care - I was having a vibration at 60mph to about 65mph - so bad that I shot a bearing cap off the driveshaft last week (only about 200 miles on new ujoints). I did a search and did the "remove the spacer bar from the ES tranny mount"-fix. Sure enough, I had installed the spacer like a good boy. When I was putting it all back together, I stripped the inside of the ES, so I just put my stock mount back in (still in good shape). Drove the car, no vibration at all up to 75mph (didn't go faster as the car is not registered yet). Tranny mounts are easy enough to change - at some point, I'll get another ES and install it the right way (without the spacer and widening the crossmember slot). Hope this helps somebody. BTW, I have a T5 with an LS1 driveshaft and stock 3.45 rear.

Kevin -
getting ready to install the ES tranny mount myself.
If I understand - you would NOT use the spacer ES provides?
Also, can you explain about enlarging the slot in the crossmember? Is this usually necessary to get the ES piece to fit?

As soon as I got my car - I replaced the clutch. When I had everything out, I put in the ES mount as instructed (with the spacer). I have always had a vibration from 60-65mph. I went to remove the spacer and ruined the threads for the ES mount, forcing me to use a stock mount. With the stock mount I have no vibration at all. I never drove the car with the spacer removed - so I can't 100% say that it is the spacer (but 99.9% sure) as opposed to the ES mount itself. All I know is that with the stock one the car runs perfectly smooth. I am planning on doing another ES (the right way) at some point in the future.
The other issue with the ES mount is that the bolt goes up through the crossmember and into the mount. On a stock mount, the bolt comes down from the mount and is secured with a washer and nut. The bolt that goes through the member and into the ES is wider than the slot on the crossmember - requiring some "routing" of the slot. It's a minimal amount but if you try to thread the bolt through (as I did), you'll ruin the threads and have problems once those threads get inside the ES mount. Sorry so terse, just trying to be thorough.

Thanks for the explanation. Since new I've had a funky vibration at speeds above 75 mph - so I'm leary of possibly creating more with the ES mount. Sounds like I'll just have to try it out and hang on to the factory piece.

I installed the ES mount with the spacer and never had a vibe problem related to the mount itself. I did however wind up swapping to an aluminum driveshaft a few years later to cure another vibe.

I installed my ES tranny mount w/out the spacer also, never tried with it in, so I don't know how it would compare. Seems fine the way is. I've seen in a few posts that it is best without.

Just bought the Prothane mount from Spohn. It looks like a quality part and they claim no vibration issues and use no spacer plate. Haven't installed it yet so I can't comment on it's performance but the reason I chose it was because all of the complaints about the ES one.
