i'd say no unless you can replicate the same process used to make the part because it's one thing you wouldn't want to break on you. if i were to try it i'd want to run the part on a simulation program and do a stress anaylsis. what are you trying to do ru na set of wheels not made for a thirdgen?

No, 99-04 Cobra, Bullit, and Mach 1 Mustangs have 13" Brembo Rotors up front. You can buy them reasonably cheap, so I'd like to use them and redrill them for my C4 HD brake upgrade instead of paying more for vette rotors. Pay less and get better rotors basically.

So ede, do you think that would make a difference by it being a rotor?
Anybody else??

I just don't think it's worth the time and effort..Brembo also makes Vette rotors, and they're the same size. But don't limit yourself to just Brembos, there's others out there.

Anybody who's doing this and wants a good deal on calipers, I just bought these. They are the same ones as the stiffer 96 GrandSport Vette Calipers except they aren't powdercoated or have the "Corvette" letters cast onto them and they have dual 42mm pistons instead of dual 38mm ones. They still use the same pad though. They are actually 99-04 Mustang Cobra calipers and come in a pair loaded with pad brackets and pads. I got mine on ebay for $169 shipped but I know a place online called the Stang Store carries them for $169 plus shipping.
PN is M2320C

I already have 1LE calipers, but since I gotta buy pad brackets which would be $80 or more....I'd just buy these and sell my 1LE's and probably come out ahead. Since I want to polish my calipers anyways, these will look better than the 1LE's (IMO) and be easier to polish since they don't have the fins in front.
I'm probably gonna spring for the EBC rotors, Green Stuff Pads, and a Goodridge hose kit.
