Need Help With Broken Sub Frame

Im looking to buy an 85 Z28 Camaro, the car itself is in great shape and it is only 1,000 dollars.

But the car has a BROKEN SUB FRAME.

I searched and couldnt find to much information on them all I seen was sub frame connectors. I dont know much about Sub Frames and was wondering if anyone knew how much a new one would cost, who makes good ones and if the car was worth buying with the broken sub frame.

Any Help would be much appreciated and sorry if I missed info already on this board.

Thank You

Depends on which part that's broken.

If it's the K-member, the thing that the engine sits on and the front suspension bolts to, you can replace it. If it's some part of the sheet metal reinforcement, you can probably weld it up.

The Car is about 300 miles from me but I will e-mail the guy again and ask for some pictures then get back to you guys with them, all he told me was the sub frame was broken didnt say which part... He has been pretty cooperative so I should have them in a couple days. Thanks for the help.
