neutral handling?
anybody hit the right suspension tuning to get a neutral handling third gen z-28? so far i've got stock springs, bilstein struts, 34/24mm bars, monroe rears, sfc's, strut tower brace....and the car understeers. not badly, but enough at the extremes. i'm running in ssca autocross and some track days..just aligned the whole set-up and got a max -.5 camber, zero toe. should i get the eibach pros and koni rears to finish the package? don't give me textbook answers..i need practical, real world info from guys that really drive!!

The easiest thing you can do is swap the rear swaybar out for a smaller one (like a 21mm) so that the rearend can be powered around corners better. You may also want to adjust tire pressure more - makes a big difference.
I run the 36mm/18mm combo - this is due to having a lot of power and wanting to steer the car with the throttle.

I think that a smaller rear sway bar would increase the understeer by planting the rear better.
My suggestion is to work on the alignment first by installing Ground Control caster/camber plates. I can get up to -2.25 degrees of camber. If you have Bilstiens on the front I would put Bilstiens on the rear, though I would really recommend Koni Sports on the front and Bilstien or Koni Specials in the rear. I would also recommend a T2-R differential.
