Steering column shaft to intermediate shaft
Well i just replaced my steering column and am having a pain of a time getting these two parts to get back together. Is there some kind of method to do this? I know of the notch but I still can't get it in there. What is the easiest way to do this? Take off the intermediate shaft and does anyone have instructions on how to do this?

Ok, so no one here has seriously had problems connecting the end of the steering column to the intermediate shaft. I saw one thead that suggested the person file the areas a little bit, but i'd perfer not to do that, I can get it in maybe 1.5 cm, but that obviously isn't enough to put the bolt through.
