Cadillac brakes

Has anybody considered or used the Cadillac CTS-V Brembo brakes. They are 4-piston 14.0" X 1.25" front and 14.4" x 1.20" back. I think that they would work pretty well if they could be adapted to work. Since the CTS-V weighs 3900+lbs.

I've seen those brakes and they are sweet, but I expect they would cost a lot, 1500$ +

They are awesome brakes but you will need a very big rim, most likely 18’s.

I would be surprised if they were that cheap. From the dealer they probably would be 5 grand. 13" Brembros are over 2 grand, and just for the fronts.

You are right it does have six lug wheels but the rotors can always be drilled for a 5 lug pattern.

Had time to look up all the info and part numbers here is what I got.

The front rotors are 14 inch and the rear rotors are 14.4 inch. The front and rear calipers are 4 piston brembo calipers.

The front calipers are $95:
89047726 and 89047727

The rear calipers are $76:
89047742 and 89047743

I'll try to get the rotor part numbers too but you may not be able to drill them because the stock 6 lug pattern will be very close to the 5 lug pattern which will probably cause stress fractures. I am sure you could use the calipers with other rotors though.

front calipers are 114.17

you forget that they add a percentage into the final cost.

when posting from GMpartsdirect.com, just add it to the cart, and click the checkout link... that'll give you the true cost

otherwise, its the dealers price, and noone, including them, sells for what they buy it for.
