Alston SFC Install Question

Good evening all -
I ordered a set of Alston SFC's over the weekend. I had a quick question regarding installation.

They're the "bolt in" variety. I plan on bolting them up and then when the car is able to run under its own power again - take it to the shop and getting them welded up at the same time I get my exhaust installed.

Currently there's no engine/transmission in the car. They're out of the car pending the completion of my engine.

I understand that the suspension needs to be loaded in order to install the SFCs.

Will I be able to install these with the engine/trans out of the car or would it be best to wait until they're both back in?

It seems from an install standpoint it would be much easier to do it now, but I don't want to cause any problems by putting them in the car now.

Thoughts?

Re: Alston SFC Install Question

I am not a professional..but I would wait until you have everything in the car..not having the engine in is a HUGE difference in the way the car settles.
