brake pedal stuck

well my brakes have always been a little on the sticky side, so i decided to bleed the system again, and on both front brakes there was no fluid coming out of the bleeder and the pedal would not sink. i disconected the lines from the calipers and the same thing happened. i decided to change the proportioning vlave because i wanted an aftermarket one anyways. i T 'ed off the front brakes and got a wilwood proportioning valve and the same results again. i know there are no kinks in the lines and the back brakes bled fine. my only logical guess left would be the master cylinder. any ideas?

I had this problem on one front wheel and it turned out to be a plugged up or collapsed hose. But to have both hoses plugged? What are the chances??

Have you opened up the master cylinder resevoir? If I remember right its sectioned into two parts for the front and rear. You may have leaked all of the fluid from the front part of your resevoir but still full for the backs. Thats the only reason I can think of, other than two collapsing hoses.

So check that resevoir

I haven't disassembled a brake line hose myself but here is what I understand: The hose has multiple layers, that is, one hose inside another. The inner hose is designed to be leakproof, while the outer hose is designed for strength. A collapsed hose means that the interior hose has detached from the outer layer or has ripped and is falling down into the flow of brake fluid. I have heard that it can act as a one way valve like a flapper valve. In my case (see above) it was just plain plugged. This can happen with no sign of leakage on the outside. I imagine there are intermediate layers between the inner and outer hose layers.
