Rear doesn't follow front!!

I was driving down the highway today, and there was no one around, so I was just playing around. I sterted swerving around from side to side in my lane, and I noticed that when I turned in, the rear would keep going straight for 1/3 to 1/2 of a second, and then come in line. It doesn't feel right, and I don't think it's normal. What could be causing this? They are all poly bushings, and the panhard bar seem fine, as I tried to push the car side to side and it wouldn't move.

I may be asking a dumb question but how can you align a solid axle?

sounds to me like youve got something loose under there . you may want to get down there with a couple wrenches and tighten everything up

Don't let the name confuse you. But when doing the anignment you are aligning the fronts with the rear.

It's not. Our cars need a thrust angle alignment. And I don't think he is being a smartass. He is making a correction. Misinformation although well intended can be disastrous.

Regardless, a TAA is in order. The alignment machine will detect anything bent or broken in the front end, but not the rear. The alignment tech, if competent, should be able to tell if the rear has any problems pretty easily.

Tell me more about this Thrust Angle Adjustment. I don't understand how it would help when it tracks straight normally, but hesitates when turning sharply.

The alignment itself probably will not help the situation. But it will determine if anything is bent or broken. If everything seems OK, you could have a problem with your suspension parts binding, mismatched sway bars, or even in your head... j/k

I see you have a lot of aftermarket parts. Everything greased and moving properly?

yeah, i'm pretty sure everything is fine. I tightened up all of the bolts, the front left control arm bolt was loose, but it didn't change anything. I just greased up all of the bushings like 2 months ago.
