Stress Fracture perhaps. But the stress cracks has spread evenly and two of the spokes are on the verge. It's a 87 5.0 TPI IrocZed.

I did not have any luck trying to find a replacement front wheel . Local junkyard and used wheel reseller have only rears (for 85-87)16"ers.

Can I use a 88-92(Firebird or Camaro)16" front wheel . It will look different (88-92 Camaro has a lip) but will it be the same, weight and offset wise.

Another quick question. I have been able to locate 15"ers in the same style so do I have this option of going for a temp 15" wheel at the front. Will it clear the brake and rotors/calipers.

 

You can use the T/A front wheels. You can use any wheel with the correct bolt pattern, a 0"/0mm offset, and adequate caliper clearance.
