Suspension Help
So i've finally got some cash together, and i'm going to redo my shocks/springs at all four corners as well as new bushings up front. Keep in mind my car is pretty much a beater, and needs lots of body work.
My question is this. Do you think at this point (very beggining of sinking money into a v-6 car) that adjustable shocks/struts are worth the money, or do you think that just a good aftermarket pair (say koni red's) would do me just fine. Also, anyone know what springs i can get for a v6 camaro. I don't want anything more than a 1" drop really and everything i see out there says v8 only. I really wanna get a set of the eibach pro's but i think without the added weight of the bigger engine my car wouldn't sit correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was thinking along the same lines, but i think that the adjustable might kinda be overkill right now... i mean i can always upgrade down the line and spend the money i save now on stuff like lca relocation brackets and stuff like that

I put KYB GR-2 struts on my car when I rebuilt the whole suspension. I replaced everything, so the bill was Huge. Plus, the roads around me Suck with a capital S- I figured a fancy set of struts/shocks would get ruined quick, and then I'd be screwing around with a warranty, etc. I also figured (like you said) that I could upgrade later if I wanted to.
Keep in mind, if you've got the original struts on, ANYTHING will be better than those 12 year old struts & shocks!
Oh and I put on springs from Suspension Techniques. See here for more info: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=184552

This past winter I completely redid the entire suspension on my car. I did the GR-2/Gas-a-just combo that seems to be a popular choice for those not wanting to spent $700 on some konis. i cant really say what kind of a difference they make by themselves, but i know theyre better then the stock worn stuff i had before
I love the Koni Yellows.
Haven't used the others on the list, Just the Stock and had a set of Gabriels for a while.
No comparison at all to either of those.
It is nice to be able to dial in exactly what you need for different driving conditions.
