4th gen power rack and pinion on a 3rd gen

4th gen power rack and pinion on a 3rd gen
is it possible to swap in the 4th gen power rack and pinion into my 3rd gen? If it is possible has anyone done it and how can I do it?

Im not sure about a fourthgen rack and pinion setups but i've seen people with rack and pinions on thirdgens, but why would you want to?
