AFPR and your O2 sensor
I was reading in my How to Tune and Modify book today at work. It says when using an AFPR (adj. fuel press. regulator) while at the strip or about to race, to disconnect the O2 sensor.
It says "when the Ecm enters closed-loop mode the oxygen sensorwould report the extra enrichment caused by the higher fuel pressure to the ECM. The injector pulse would would the be short-ended leaning the air/fuel mixture out. Thus making the AFPR useless unless the O2 sensor is unplugged.
Just a little helpful info. Write back and tell me what you think
