10/90 Drag shocks

My 85 isn't going to be my daily driver, but I am pondering putting a set of these in. Do I need to put the 10/90 out back with some adjustable shocks upfront?

u need the 90/10 front struts, and 50/50 rear shocks.

if u dont want adjustable ones just get the lakewood ones that jegs sells.

i believe competition engineering makes adjustable drag shocks/struts for reasonable prices compared to other brands

Is your car a daily driver or track/weekend only? How does it handle on the street?

If your going to buy NON adjustable dont bother with 50/50 rears...Guess what... stockers and aftermarket replacement shocks are 50/50.So rather than give lakewood 50 a piece for a 50/50 just buy some gabriels for 20 bucks a set and be done with it.. 90/10 front and regular shocks rear OR 90/10 front and adj rear to give you some track tunability..

what are you talking about kenwood? gabriels arnt 20 bucks i have a set on my chevelle. anyways the car handles great yes it is a daily driver. I only have the stock 305 so i dont know how they handle with higher amounts of horsepower. but i have tried everything to taking turns faster than normal to see if the struts would cause my rearend to come around on me and it doesnt. but i do have a lot of suspension up grades. the lakewood 50/50's also help and ive never heard of all shocks being 50/50s anyways with the struts and shocks combo, sfc, lca's, I was able to bring my car et down a full 2 seconds.

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...X/appId-439948

Sorry for the typo..

regular duty rear stock replacement shocks for our cars come set up 50-50 for rear.. the Point was dont give lakewood 50$ a shock for the same thing as Pictured for $12.49 a shock..

OK you would rather have them>>
You have not opened a JC whitney cat>>>FWIW I have not either but merely picked out 1 of the 5000000 examples of those shocks for sale for 20 bucks a set.

Good luck with them..

I like my lakewood 90/10 drag struts, for the front, and i like the adjustable rears shock's i've got.. i belive they are liquid shocks not the gas charged.. .. the car's got boxed lca's, subframe conectors, a spohn torque arm, an s-10 manual steering box, and a roll bar.. the car still handles pretty well.. it's no longer and auto cross threat, but it still holds corners pretty well.. even with no front sway bar.
