Swapping disk brakes?

Hey all, i picked up a cheap 9 bolt for my 83 over summer, going to put her in next year, but I'm interested on finding out if the disk brakes from my 83 will swap right over. The calipers and rotors need to be rebuilt/resurfaced on the 9 bolt, but everything on the 10 bolt is perfectly fine and in working order. I don't imagine there's a difference but thought I'd look into it anyway.

Thankya.

You've got the iron Delco Moraine's, right? Have you changed the rear pads on those recently?

Ten-bolts use a different backing plate. Did you get the backing plates with the 9-bolt?

I'm editing this because I just saw a post by a guy that has a 9-bolt with the iron Delco-Moraine calipers. With that in mind, check your backing plates.

I've got a 10-bolt now. In the near future, a 9-bolt is going in and I'm adding the PBR calipers. The PBR calps need a different backing plate.
