I can't really answer that question, but mine is the same way. Basically everything in my front end is new except the center link. I even had the (typical) frame crack by the steering box welded and installed a TDS Wonderbar. Maybe there's something else I'm missing, but what else could be causing this popping in our newly rebuilt front ends??

Mine has SFCs, GW steering brace and all new front end parts - still popped and cracked like a bastard - turns out that the 6 bolts holding the crossmember on to the car were all loose - one was about to fall out - tightened them to 120 and no more noise.

Yeah, good call on that, I've read that before on the boards, unfortunately that's not my problem. I had the whole front crossmember out of the car when I put the new engine in and I tightened all the bolts back down to spec and have re-checked them since then and they're all still tight. Good thought though, maybe that's your problem 92rsbowtie? It's definitely worth a look!
