How to "Fine Tune" my ride height?

I installed Eibach Pro-Kit springs, Tokiko struts along with eighteen inch IROCs and 40 series BFG-kdw's this spring on my 1988 IROC convertible.
The combination feels good, handles great but the car (especially the rear) still doesn't sit EXACTLY right.
It still needs to come down another 1/2 to 3/4" to be perfect.
Is there a simple way to get the ride height dialled-in without replacing everything and going to a weight jack setup?
I have also ordrered a new ZZ4 which will be mated to a T-5, to replace my 305 auto combination...any ideas what this will do to the ride height?

You need to get the November hot rod magazine.
It will show you how to fine tune how your car rides.

Why not order a set of custom springs to the exact length and spring rate you want. It's not that expensive and there are loads of companies who offer the service.

Just cut the springs, start small and keep going until you get where you want. Thats the only "real" way to fine tune them.

I like to use the AFCO Racing adjustable spring spacers. These combined with their springs (or another manufactuer such as Landrum) make for a nice setup. Price is decent too.

www.afcoracing.com

The spacer fits on top of the spring and seats into the upper spring seat of the frame/k-member.

Onthe spacer there is a threaded plate that is rotated in order to set the ride height.
