lightened up front now sits too high

Ok, I have an 82 with fairly new front stock Z springs. Since the install it's been a few years but recently , I've put on a fiberglass hood, took out all emissions, removed A/C, battery relocated to the back, aluminum intake and now the front end sits up too high - like a few inches higher. I can stick my whole fist between the tire and top fender well. Which I could not do before. Any suggestions on what to do? Should I cut the top coils? Should I pick up some V6 springs? RS maybe? Any help would be great.

Cut some coils off, it works great. I did it to my 82, now the car sits exactly how i want it. I cut alot off, 1.25 coils, so the wheels are slightly tucked into the fender. I do not have any rubbing problems at all. You might want to start smaller so you don't cut too much.
