Help! Massive Front Wheel Wabble side to side
Car wobbles violently side to side as if the wheels want to fall off. I put the car in jack stands and with the steering lock I grab each side of the wheel and push and pull laterally and the front end has massive play. Now what is wrong because I have brand new A-arm bushings, ball joints, Inner and outer tie rods, centerlink bar and idler arm. Car was aligned. One thing I noticed was the
driver side inner tie rod bolt to centerlink was loose. Took the cotter pin out and torque it to spec. Front Steering still has a lot I mean A WHOLE LOT of Travel and play. The only thing not new is the pitman arm up front. What should I begin checking for?

The Problem is related to steering only. New Timken bearings, Rotors, Pads, and I purchased the Stainless Steel Quick Brake Caliper upgrade. The problem I'm seeing is that with the front wheels suspended I could grab the wheel and if like I was simulating a turn the front suspension moves with the steering lock. Thats not suppose to happen right? The car has lots of play side to side when I pull/push on the wheel.

What is the steering rag joint and how do I check this?
There is a nut that is on the steering box shaft going to the firewall, do you mean to check for that?
I ordered a complete front-end rebuild kit from P-S-T installed it all myself and drove to alignment shop. The shop had to shorten the tie-rods claiming it was to long by cutting a little off. Its an extremely reputable shop dealing mostly with racing cars so I trust their judment but could this have anything to do with it?
Also, I have new Bilstein Shocks and Eibach Pro-Kit Springs but one item I did not replace was the shock tower bearings that sit on each strut. May that have any bearing on this?
This is the only thing holding me back from trying out my new engine at the track. 383AFR Miniram 520 horsepower per engine dyno. Keep the suggestions coming in. Thanks for the responses so far.

You should grab a friend to help ascertain what is loose/moving. One of you grab and shake the wheel while the other observes all the linkage and stuff to see what has play.
