tubular K member install with headers on the car????

set of hooker long tubes #2210. im just too dang lazy to drop the exhaust and spend money on new gaskets. the a arms are off the car, and it looks as if the a arm mounts on the k member itself is gonna keep it from falling out directly. if i loosen the bolts, can i wiggle it out around the headers? i know the tubular one will slide right up, as the mounting points are MUCH smaller than the factory, BULKY, casting.

if i had a plasma cutter, id chop it in half at the oil pain.
thanks in advance.

I had to take my passenger side header off to change the k member
