did you have your wheels balanced before mounting them? Most reputable tire shops make that a standard procedure.

The only rattling type sound I have heard coming from a wheel area has been the brake pads? Does it rattle when you drive or just when you spin the wheel by hand?

With the 91-92 Z wheels the center cap tabs that hold the cap on can break when installing. and will cause the broken tab to spin around making a rattling sound. happend to me once.

Similar to what I was thinking. My center caps on my iroc wheels used to be really loose. I siliconed them down because a couple had lost so many tabs that they would stay on.
