my edelbrock 3pt stb reduced cowl shake greatly... a bunch of companies make them, just search under "stb" or browse through our sponsors' websites

the struts in these cars is what locates the top of the spindle.

when you corner hard, the fenderwells that the struts are on, flex.

this flexing makes for not-so-great-feeling handling.

the strut tower brace connects the two struts... and that helps keep them from flexing.

this is amplified using coilover designs... greatly reduced and very important to have a stb then.

STB is the next best Mod to SFC's. Picture of Hotchkis STB on a TPI.

While the strut tower brace helps a bit, if you really want to tighten up your front end, install the steering brace, aka "the wonderbar". The difference is incredible and it'll help keep your steering box on the car where it belongs. Global West carries them, they're cheap and relatively easy to install. Guaranteed you'll like it.
