Have you ever thought about packing lots of very heavy weight grease in an open rear, to help slow it's action down? Just a thought.....Make it feel more like a posi....maybe?

very very doubtfull

most lsd units have soemthing like 400-500lbs of preload on them
good luck getting that much resistance with just grease and if you did you would have so much loss due to just the rear end moving around it wouldn't be worth it.
only way it might work is if you have a viscous lsd unit

You know, i hear that mod, along with removing your center caps, will knock 5 tenths from a stock TBI cars time.

Dude you are a punk. I really don't like anything you have to say.
Anytime I post a topic, you have some lame to throw in. You are never helpful, always sarcastic. My car is not stock. I dislike your close-minded atatude.
Please **** off.

1. That's impossible. The open rear just doesn't have the mechanics involved for that to happen.

2. You'll produce heat, and a LOT of it.

3. You'd have to pack an awful lot of grease in there. Don't forget you will have to pack the tubes as well!

4. Don't do it
