Moog oem springs, shocks...
Well I got my new springs...WOW! Spohn ships fast
I got the oem iroc replacements..The guy at Spohns said they are iroc replacements, so the handeling should be better than stock...Anyone know what the diff is between RS and IROC springs are??? Any thoughts on the moog springs?
Also, I thought I'd pass around the collection plate...Feel free to put your .02 cents in...
I bought the kyb gr2's and in the next 2 weeks Im gonna try and install the shocks and springs..
My buddy is a mechanic with 17 years experience, and with his warm dry lift, and endless supply of tools he helps me with some of my bigger mods... For the record, he's a trucky... (loves and only owns trucks, some with very high lifts, but all are Chevys, and really beautiful) Anyway, he hates the kybs, he says they are rolling paper thin, and wont last for crap, with an average ride at best, and when they break the damage they can do is not worth it...He knows me very well and understands that billsteins are out of the question, billsteins = divorce
His suggestion is monroe sensatracs, his reasons: ride is comparable between the two, but that the number of gr2's he's seen fail/break, far out ways that of the monroe's breaking...
It seems that on this site the sensatracs are hated.. Why is that?
Of the two with the iroc springs, which do you think would be better???
As always, thanks guys...

I just put those same springs in the T/A with the kyb gr-2/gas adjust struts/shocks. I like the springs, the rear shocks seem okay, but the front struts don't seem to control rebound all that well. If I were to do it again ( and I'm sure I will after this winter if I can afford it ) I would get somthing better....... koni yellows-billsteins.
