Wait a minute!?
Will a TPI 82-92 camaro K-member have provisions for a V6 motor mounts?
I was just about to buy one in the next day or to, I don't want to get it and not have a place to bolt the engine, that would suck.

K members are the same, only the mounts will be different.

I am pretty sure the mounts bolt in the same place, they are just different like Ed said. I know the K-members are all the same. The V-6s set in the same place the just short 2 cylinders so theres more room up front.

So the mounts go in the same holes but they can reach the motor no problem?
I guess I could allways call the company. I'm guessing the "company" is just a distributor and dosen't know any thing about the product.

There are different sets of holes further back on the K-member that the 60*V6 motor mounts bolt into. The 90*V6 use the same holes as the V8's, but not the 60*V6's.
Yes, all of the stock K-members have the mount holes for the 60*V6.

So I'm SOL, with puting that V6 on that K-member?
If I could have my welder and plasma torch back home when I do this it wouldn't be a problem.

I looked through my pictures of a few K members, they only have one set of motor mounts.
Can any one help me figure out where the V6 holes go?
I'm sure I can cut and weld more metal on there for the mounts to go on.
If I could know that I could so easily mod it over here and ship it home ahead of me. There is still time.

Oilpan, Did you read what I wrote? I said nothing of the sort. The holes are in the stock k-members for the V6 mounts. They are about 1 inch back towards the firewall from the V8 mounts. If it is a stock k from an IROC, it will have the other bolt holes under and slightly behind the existing V8 motormounts
