Subframe connectors ?'s going to have a set installed today

I've got a set of Hotchkis and a set of Summit connectors.
One for each of my cars.
One is my 86 Trans Am with Heddman Longtubes, Spohn X-member and TQ arm, T56.
The other is my 88 Formula 305 TPI 5 speed with stock exhaust.

I am not sure which set to put in which car.
My trans am doesn't have the tranny, exhaust or anything installed yet so I can't test to see which will work/fit better.

I don't really care which set goes on which car, I just want to make sure that whatever goes on today, the other set will work on the trans am.

The summit ones are straight while the hotckis ones have one tube that has a bend in it, I think it's the driver side but I am not sure.

anyone have any experience with the summit ones?
I am getting them installed in 4 hours.

thanks

with the longtubes, neither one of the sets should interfere with the exhaust. i believe the summit connecters are the same as the jegs ones that i have and i have had stock exhaust, aftermarket exhaust in the stock location and now longtubes with a trud dual system and have never had any interferrence problems.

Well, it looks like either one will work for iether car, but we didn't get to install the subframes on the 88 since the y-pipe is in the way.
I guess I'll do headers and a new y-pipe and try this again in January.

going to get headers since modding the stock y-pipe isn't cost effective. Might as well put headers on since the manifolds will probably have to come off if one of th e studs break while removing the stock y-pipe. Studs are very rusty looking and are probably weak.
