So I have junky 235/55/16kuhmos on 16" wheels. I want some drag radials or slicks. Some manufactures size thier tires in inches...aahhhhh I'm confused. So can someone tell me what size tire will fit on my stock wheels? I guess I should go with the largest size I tire that will fit.....Thanks!

If you want slicks....you would be better off going to a 15" wheel. There are more options out there for the 15" wheel than the stock 16".

Also...let me be the first to say

Could go with something like a 255/45R16 BFG d/r or Nitto 555R d/r's. I just made up the size 255/45R16...I didn't actually check to see if they make them in that size. I wouldn't go any larger than 255 personally on a 8" rim, but I've heard of some people doing much more.

I have a set of 275/40R17 Nitto (555RII fronts, 555R rears) tires that I'm putting on the 10spokes I got with them... but that is a 9" wide rim.
