Jack and Spare question

Hi,

I know, boring. But...

My 1986 V6 camaro has two jacks. One is a screw type scissor jack and the other is kind of like an old style bumper jack but works kind of like a scissor jack, its kind of weird. Which jack originally came with my car?

Also, I had no spare when I got the car. I found a small space saver spare in the wrecking yard and I'm carrying that now. It doesn't really fit right in the spare well so I suspect the car originally came with something else. Does anyone know the spare tire spec for this car?

Thanks!

Frank

The wierd one should be the stock jack. It looks like a bumper jack, but lays flat on the ground and lifts one end up, kinda like a hydraulic shop jack.

Don't know the specs for the compact spare (the 'mini-donut' wheel) 'cause mine came with the 'space saver' which stores deflated, and you have to use the 'can-o'-air' or a compressor to inflate it before you can use it. It does inflate big, though..mine says 195-70R14 (which is as big as the road wheels on my wife's '03 Corolla)

The dohnut for my 92 Camaro stores behind a big plastic panel behind the passenger side rear fenderwell. It'll go in there fully inflated with the crappy scissor type jack sored behind it. (closer to the outside of the car)
