Cad-Cam f-body files...

Is there any information out there about a cad-cam file for the third-gen? It'd be an easy way to look at chassis changes.

What are you looking for? You would various model files to analyise them properly. The unibody did not change and the parts that did were very similar. Sway bars, shocks and springs are about all that changed. A BOM could tell you what you ae looking for. I doubt many people have "credible" model files of F-body structures. Those are locked away in the generals network database.

Yeah but aftermarket companies have to have them too. And actually I wasn't talking about changes in the design over the years, I was talking about changes I would make. Any unibody file from 82 to 92 for either camaro or firebird would be fine with me.

GM does not release math data to anyone unless they are a direct supplier. I know because I work for one and getting any data like this from GM is a nightmare. Most aftermarket companies build parts with a car in hand the good ol' fashion way. Measure, cut, measure, and they go from there. There isn't much that this data would help you with when our suspension peices are held in with a few bolts. It isn't to hard to make any part you want if you have the right equiptment.
