Wierd Poping Sound
Ok, my car has allways hoped and skipped alitle when I turn it tight. Especially on pavement, sometimes it can even slide the tires. The thing is, I just put new shocks and struts on my car and now, most of the time. I get this popping sound that I can hear, and feel through the car. I mean, sometims it's pretty violent. The car needs an alignment, but will this fix my problem?

Get the alignment and go from there it could be a bad ball joint or even a loose k memeber bolt or two ..

Yeah, I figured those were bad when I changed the struts. Couldent find anyone that sold them besides a dealer, and didnt have the money anyways, so I just changed the struts only. I guess the reason that would have never made noise before, is because the old struts were so shot that when I took the upper mount nuts off, the shafts just slid down inside the strut bodies.
But an allignment is a must do anyways, I'll update when that takes place.
Thanks,
Max

is it your front end? because mine did that too. itd slide the front tires kinda like u were saying too. my problem (along with bad allignment) was a bent ti rod end. check it out and besure thats not it. i came close to snapping mine. my car was in an accedent before i got it and the guys at the body shop skipped over it.

mine "popped" through turns (like a u-turn, not a fast tight turn).... and it was the tie-rod ends...
