Opinions on S&W racing Subframe Connectors and Torque Arm?

Very interested in this, anyone run their suspension?

Go to 82-03 camaro and check out those subframe, I see clearance being an issue...Price is a biggie to

I have that setup the design and workmanship are great but ground clearance is not much where the driveshaft loop seems to drag on almost all speedbumps and the top of some steep driveways looks like could be remedied by triming the bottom a lil but all in all very well built

I have them too but I think the thread got lost in the big crash.

Like he said, the crossbar hangs pretty low and scrapes frequently.

I don't have the torque arm.

I've been thinking about making my own crossbar that doesn't dip down like S&W's does, that just goes straight and horizontal as possible, then running BMR's Xtreme setup.

dang noisy too when it scrapes I dont have the torque arm installed yet(400 took a dump)but will soon and will let yall know if the crossbar can be modified to be used with their torque arm but not drag so easily

Engine: carb'ed 305 in the 87, yuck...
Transmission: 700R4, for now....
We have the southside machine subframe connectors with the S&W torque arm on the turbo car. Worked great when the car was NA. Never made it to the track with boost but pulled 1.6 and 1.7 consistent 60fts. on 255/50/16 drag radials with solid mid 12 ET's. The crossbar is a little low, but, I'd rather scrape that than the exhaust...
