235/60/15's work well for street (read 4 wheel rotation).

i've got 275/60/15's on my stock 15x7 rims

some will say that's too big, but i have neve had any issues.

they are 28" tall by 9" wide, i've only got the on the rear.

thankx guys, as for height if i need i can get some of these spring spacers that raise the back end up like 1" from stock. i guess my question really is, how big can i go and not have clearance issues if i DID the spring spacer and then if i DIDN'T do the spring spacer. thankx again for your help

and for tire rotation my rear tires don't last long enough to be rotated. i have cooper cobra's on my car right now and would they be able to get me the size i needed to if i asked? and the biggest size so far i've been told is 275/60/15, if i did the spring spacer how much taller could i go with the 1" spacer? i'll deal with the speedo later when i can figure out which speedo gear i need to install.
