I know the spindle stops are probably different, but aside from that, physically, do they interchange and keep the same geometry?

I'm not real sure; but ours are DEFINITELY also used on some kind of upper/lower arm vehicle, because they have a shock absorber mount in them. It would be good to know which one. Could be S truck or A/G body car.

the lower control arms on 78-87 G-body, 82-up S-10 and 3rd gen F-bodys will physically interchange. There are some differences however - 1) The outside diameter of the control arm bushings can vary, so if you need to order replacement parts based on the original application 2) the steering stop which is riveted to the back side of the control arm is different depending on the application. This can either cause the tires to rub at full lock or limit the steering travel, depending on which arms you have and what you are putting them on.

Dropped spring seat control arms won’t do you any good on a 3rd gen, unless the actual frame work of the A-arm is bent downward right by the control arm bushing. The back side of the control arm will contact the K-member if you try to go much lower then what they typically available drop springs allow for.

Even if it is bent down to clear, there isn’t that much room before it would become an issue if you had a flat tire.
