how adjustable are the Spohn front coilovers?
any one know? i currently have 2" drop springs and i love my stance. how many inches are these coilovers adjustable upward and downward? could i get the ride height with these coil overs that im at now (2" lower than stock) with my drop springs? im also in for autocross set up so i need very firm suspension.

coil overs
i have just got the coil over kit and installed it, i however do not have the car on all four tires yet but the papers that come with them say they allow you to drop the car 1 inch lower than stock it comes with 10 inch springs however you can get 8 inch springs and that will allow you to drop it further however they do not reccomend it. hope that helps
I don't know if you considered drop spindles, but you may want to check out this thread.
They'll drop the front 2 inches without affecting your springs or your suspension. I got lucky and found a used set of these spindles

ive considered the drop spindles but i am also in process of buying Baer Extreme+ front disks and they com with their own replacement spindles. im not sure if id be able to use drop spindles with this brake system? ive also email Steve Spohn about his front coilovers and he said they are currently working on a 2nd kit that "will literally let you set your k member on the ground". so hopefully this kit comes out soon cause i really want to do my front suspension all at once. i hope this new kit wont require the use of drop spindles, cause ive spent so much on my front brakes and dont want to encounter any problems....
you would have to send the drop spindles in to baer for them to modify them which costs extra. unless you are racing and can use the fine tunning most drop springs are fine. the coilovers are a nice change and welcome some adjustment but it will take some work to find the right spring rate to make you happy and even then the ride is comparable to a drop spring at best. if your looking for adjustment/fine tunning for racing they are excellent otherwise many will be disappointed.
are you sure the spindles you are getting from baer don't already have 2" drop? Few guys in that spindle thread mentioned that Baer had a "track kit" and they were supplying their own 2" drop spindles. They were curious who was Baer's supplier.
