Well, I'm putting a Stealth Ram on the car (or a car... grrr) and I can't fit my STB.

What can I do to make up for it's loss? I really liked the difference when it was installed!!

subframe connectors. That's what alot of people say. That if you have a stb take it off and put on SFC's it's better than the STB. But if you throw the STB back on you get even more rigidity. so STB<SFC<SFC+STB i guess that's the simplest way to explain it

Subframes don't replace a STB, and a STB does not do a great job at chassis stiffening.

I would see if you can fab something up, maybe chop a TBI STB up, so that you have the bars going behind the HSR, and add some gussetts. The goal of the STB is to keep the upper strut mounts equadistance from each other under cornering forces, if you can make/modify a bar that goes behind you might be alright.

Something along these lines....(hotchkis LS1 STB)

Yah, I read somewhere of someone trying to make one that actually went under the intake manifold!

I have the SFC's now. When I took the STB off, I really did notice a difference, mostly in body roll.
