Car seems uneven...
Car specs in sig.
This has been on my mind for a while, but I'm just now noticing it that I got new wheels...
My car seems rather uneven...as in, the rear fender well has a good bit more of a fender gap than the front. I noticed this as soon as I put my new shocks on (which obviously raised the car a bit since the old ones were so worn). I don't really have a good pic to show what I mean but I will try to get one tomorrow.
I'd say the rear is about 2 inches higher than the front. Also, I find that it is nearly impossible to jack up the car from the front without driving it on a ramp (and even more strangely, my friend's 87 IROC-Z with worn out shocks has no problem from the front), yet the rear gives me no issues.
My questions are:
1) Is this normal for our cars?
2) If it is...is it possible to fix it by adding new rear springs but retaining the front ones? (I don't really want the front to be any lower, it's bad enough). If it's not...what could be causing this?
Thanks.
