Did I put the coilovers together right?

I bought Spohn's front coilover kit and some Koni reds and I want to make sure I did things right. I'd like to check I didnt screw up putting the things on the struts in the right order, the instructions confused the hell outta me.
Here is the order I put parts on with the strut facing up:

Threaded sleve,
Large nut with flange facing up,
washer-bearing-washer combo,
Spring -label up,
Washer-bearing-washer combo,
Position plate with flange facing down.

My main concern is with the position plate, the washer combo seems to fit nicely with it facing downwards, but the plate also fits right into the support plates that I bolted up to the car under the strut towers. Which way should it face, up or down?

Heres a shot of the thing incase what I described doesn't make sense.

strut

Anyone able to clarify this so I can get this car to the alignment shop soon??

You have it right. The spring locator plate does exactly that. Center's itself on the strut shaft and then it will center the spring to the strut. So it will always be in perfect alingment with the strut.
