85 Trans Am ?

I have an 85 trans am i recently bought. It has a badge that says Performance Suspension. The rear of it seems to have to panhard rods, one normanl and one at a 45degree angle from the other. Is this normal for a trans am or is it special? Also, how do i tell if it is a posi rear end or not. Thanks guys.

One is the panhard bar and one is the panhard bar brace. It is completely normal to have both in every 3rd gen F-body.

As far as a posi rear end is concerned, is your RPO sticker intact? Is the axle tag still on the rear axle? Does your car lay down rubber from both tires? Those are just some easy ways to deduce if it has a posi rear-end in it.
