whats involved with floor pans

just curious...when doing the floor pans, does everything under the car have to come out or can you get around it. its about that time for me but i dont want to start taking things out of the car, they might not get back in.

all you really have to do is remove the interior and strip the undercoating abit, cut out the section to be replaced, and weld it in.
i guess you could always leave the interior in and have yourself a bon fire though

i know gm sells replacement and so does yearonebut there not goin to be very cheap. othere then that a simple search of the net might yield something. if not to bad, you can weld in some new sheet metal and call it a day.
any one else have any other dealers or suggestions ?

I don't know. I'm thinking a new body for mine. It's been eaten up pretty bad. The quarters are going in the dogleg and the the engine bay has it too. Talk about depressing!!

when it starts getting into the engine and the rear quaters it might be time to look for another shell sorry to say floors are easy enough though. make sure the body is square before you cut the floor, and dont move it before the new one is welded in. post a wanted ad in the classifieds, thats how i got my floors, $20 for both sides infront of the seat brackets
