New Spohn Strut Tower Brace!!!
I e-mailed Spohn about creating a strut tower brace that would universaly fit all 82-92 camaros...just read the E-mail:
Dear Spohn Performance,
I speak for many when I say that Spohn Performance makes some amazing products. I also speak for many when I say that the one thing needed to really cover all of the suspension/chassis bases would be a STRUT TOWER BRACE. I have been looking for a strut tower brace to fit my 84 Camaro for about 2 years now with no luck. My car is carburated, which leaves me little to no options, and to make it even more difficult, it has A/C and every strut tower brace hits the A/C canister on the passenger side. My only option is to have someone make a custom one for way too much money. If you guys could design one that would universally fit all 82-92 Camaros, carb or TPI, A/C or no A/C, that would sell extremely well. I hope you take this into consideration because I feel that we could all benefit from a product like this one. Thank you for your time.

They E-mailed me back and said:
"We are working on one, stay tuned ;-)"

i'd love to see him come out with one soon, the only option i have right now is a edelbrock 3 point, and i'm not really a fan of edelbrock anymore, quality seems to be going downhill

yea, i had the edelbrock one and it fit my carbed 84 z28, the reason i returned it was b/c it hit the A/C canister on the passenger side. It should fit a carbed car without A/C with no modification, little if any. But not sure about hood clearance....
what a deceptive thread title, how disappointing.
I thought he had released it finally.
did you do that to disappoint people on purpose?
or is your brain just infected with some kind of advertising-exaggeration-sensationalization complex disseminated from years of media brainwashing?

PS: I fully agree, false promises (even if fulfilled 16 months after the promised date) are what made me go to UMI/BMR/HOTCHKIS/TDS for all my suspension needs.
just my opinion so this guy doesn't feel all left out in his lonely bitter world full of idealistic thinking where companies that have release dates actually stick to those!
