ROH RT Wheel Offset Question

All right, I've done some searching and researching on the whole wheel offset topic and now I'm hoping for some extra help and input from all you wheel guys (and girls) on here! I'm looking at buying a set of ROH RT 17x8" wheels in the blackice finish for my Trans Am. The guy has them on an 80's Monte Carlo right now, and has had them on an S-10 as well. He doesn't know what the offset is and I've been trying to find out if they'll fit on my car. I realize I haven't given you all a lot of info to go on, but it's all I've got right now. From what I've seen and read I THINK that they'll fit and work ok, but I'd really like some additional input from anyone that has an idea. Thanks in advance so much, I really appreciate the help!!!!

That's the low offset version, so it'll fit fine.

Ok, sorry to bring my old thread back from the dead, but the deal on those 17's fell through a long time ago and I just got a line on a set of 18x9's with tires in the hyper silver finish. The guy says they're 0mm offset, but he also says that he had them on an '01 Camaro. This doesn't seem to match up to me because I thought thirdgens needed 0mm offset and fourthgens needed like +43mm offset? Will these fit my car? Also, how different are the hyper silver and the black ice finishes? I was pretty sure I wanted black ice, but I might compromise if these wheels will fit because it looks like a really good deal! Thanks in advance for any and all help!!

a wheel that will fit a 3rd gen will fit a 4th gen too. Its just the other way around that it wont work with out adapters. Heres a pic of the black ice and silver

Ok, cool, so it's sounding like these should fit from the info I've gathered so far. Thanks for the pics, I've seen them (and/or ones like them) before, I just have a hard time knowing how the black ice and silver compare in different lighting conditions. Does anyone who has seen them in person have any opinions? I'm thinking if I can get the 4 18x9's with tires (one "rubbed" from misalignment he says so it'll need to be replaced) for $600 or so it's a pretty good deal and that I can sacrifice having the black ice finish. 255/45/18 should be an ok size to run on all 4 corners, right?

Heres another shot, slightly different angle. I haven't seen the black ice but I'm really happy with the silver.

WOW! Those look great! That just totally solidified my decision to put RT's on my T/A!!! I ended up deciding not to get the ones I was looking at. I wasn't 100% sure I would be happy with silver instead of black ice, and I decided I should put the money into some other things on my car first since I don't NEED wheels at this point. I'm really impressed though, the silver looks AMAZING on your car!! Thanks again for the pics, your car looks great!!

Thanks for the compliment.

Glad the pictures helped. The car was missing motor, tranny, hood, front bumper and ground effects when I bought it and it has taken me three years to get it to this point.

Good luck with your car.
