Hello All: I have a couple of questions about an IROC I looked at today that is for sale. It had 15" wheels and drum brakes in the rear. They guy selling it said 16" wheels and Disc rear brakes were an option. Is this true? It also had a CD player. He said he has only seen CD players in Trans Ams of that year and suspected that is where it came from. Thanks for any input.

Rear disc brakes and 16" rims are an option. There is also a 1LE option available for the 3rd gen IROCs. It will give you firmer springs thicker sway bars and larger brakes... I thought all 89 IROCs came with 16" rims. They were usually the double vein rims (very nice looking). I've been looking for the same style just wider ( 9 1/2 or 10 inch )...
