245/50/16 tire recomendations

Looking for recomendations for best tires for the least amount of money in 245/50/16 size. Want all-season tires too. Give your reviews on inexpensive tires and their cost.

I buy my camaro tires from tires direct. They are a mail order/online tire distibutor. They are quick and have very good prices. The only downfall is that you don't get road hazard, mileage warranty, etc.

I alway buy the NITTO tires. You can get a V speed rated tire, that size, for around $95, and that includes shipping. I have been very happy with the NITTOs and I know a lot of others that use them.

Ive used BF Goodridge KDWS in the past and liked them a lot, but too much $$ this time. I would like to hear feedback on tires that were $80 or less each.

Hankook
Kumho
Sumitomo
Other cheaper tires.

from national tire and battery,

i got fulda carat extremos. a nice high performance z rated tire with a tread wear rating of 180. it handles nicely and hooks decent and real good at the track

it goes good in the rain too and when its cold out but in the snow forget about it.

they go for 109 each

Don't buy BFG's unless you go to a 17" rim and G-Force KD's. I have the KDW's on my car and they are crap. I may end up giving them to my mother-in-law for her Toyota Avalon. Can't imagine running the lesser KDWS's.

If I were looking for a less expensive tire I would probably be leaning more towards theToyo Proxies 4's @ $115ea onoy because I know the Proxies line are for the most part very good tires. I am actually looking to go to the Toyo Proxies RA-1 in a 255-50-16 for dail use since it is a 100 treadwear. Most autox tires are around 40 and a "good wearing-great grip" performance street tire is in the 280 range and last me about 3 years with some occational mild track use 2 or 3 times a year. Figure I should get about 1 1/2 years out of them if I do not run them on a roadcourse.
