Lowering spring question. V8 car with V6 springs will it sit lower???

Hey guys, I love the look that the Eibach Sportlines give the car, but I am running long tubes and I know that with the linear springs I'll be hitting everything. It was at that point that I decided to just use the Pro Kit. But when I started thinking about it, why couldn't I just use the Pro Kit for a V6 f body? The extra weight of the V8 would make the front sit a little lower correct? And the Pro Kit is a progressive rate spring so there would be less chance of nailing something with the headers. I'm just throwing the idea around. Any thoughts/sugguestion/opinions? All are welcome!

IT will sit lower for sure. My buddy put a
v-8 in his 2.8 car and it has a real good stance to it.

with stock V6 springs my car had an awesome stance after the 406 swap, but my headers and y-pipe hit on big bumps. V6 springs are really soft. they work great for drag racing, but arent very good for handling

lol, if you seriously wanted to have that adjustibility, just go ahead and order custom springs... GM springs are dirt cheap, and you can get exactly what you want that way.

i just swapped a 357 vortec and i have my v6 springs and the stance is great. looks tough. but yea bumps are really too big of a problem and i get some good traction. hardly spin from a stop and from then on traction !!!

While the V6 springs would work... you're asking for something that is made to lower a V6's front an inch... so whatever the V6 springs will lower a V8, it'll be by another inch... therefore I believe it will defeat the purpose?
